Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and the agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Tuncan Technology & Consulting DOO (Podgorica, Montenegro), operating under the UGY brand (“UGY”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the UGY mobile application or the ugy.app website (together, the “Service”), you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• “Service” — the UGY app, the ugy.app website, and related features.
• “User”, “you” — anyone who uses the Service.
• “Event listing” — information about an event aggregated from publicly available sources.
• “User content” — content you add to the Service: your username, display name, bio, profile photo, and feedback you send us.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old (or older where your local law requires) to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account & Data) or via our Account & Data Deletion page.

4. The Service

UGY helps you discover local events through a personalised feed built from publicly available event information. The Service is currently free. We do not sell tickets and we do not process payments through the app — where an event listing includes a ticket link, that link takes you to a third-party website that is not operated by us. Third-party websites and services linked from the Service (including ticket vendors) are governed by their own terms and policies, not these Terms.

5. Event information — important disclaimer

• UGY is a discovery service, not the event organiser. We are not responsible for events, their content, cancellation, rescheduling, or conduct at the venue — the organiser or venue is.
• Event listings are aggregated from public sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Always confirm the details (date, time, price, venue, age limits) with the organiser before attending.
• A listing in UGY is not an endorsement, and it does not create any relationship between you and the organiser through us.

6. User content

• You keep ownership of your user content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process it solely to operate the Service.
• User content must not be unlawful, offensive, misleading, or impersonate any person or organisation, and must not infringe anyone’s rights.
• We may remove user content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. To report content, email [email protected].

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any applicable law;
• scrape, copy, resell, or bulk-extract content or data from the Service;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to breach the security of the Service;
• upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts; or
• misuse other users’ or organisers’ information.

8. Intellectual property

The UGY name, app, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Event information belongs to its respective sources and organisers; every listing links back to its original public source.

9. Privacy

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for events organised by third parties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence (including the EU).

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

13. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. We will notify material changes in the app; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The current version and its effective date are always shown at the top of this page.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, and disputes are subject to the courts of Podgorica, Montenegro, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence (including the EU).

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
